While definitely not currently in a committed relationship, I spent some time with the platform, planning my dream gay wedding (because I’m a desperate lunatic). As of now, users have two options when registering for the site: 1) a free version that’s very much in the same vein as Lover.ly or Pinterest, where you can search for, collect, and organize wedding ideas, and 2) a premium version for $9.99/month that gives you access to an impressive set of planning tools (and I mean ~impressive~). I opted for the premium version, since there’s a 30-day trial. After inputting some basic wedding info (names of the people getting married, budget, date and city location of the wedding, etc.), you’re directed to your wedding dashboard that provides you with an overview of the planning process. The dashboard provides you with a general checklist of what you still need to do, how far along you are in planning your wedding (shown as a percentage), an overview of wedding RSVPs, and how much of your total budget has already been allocated for wedding costs. The tools on the Aisle Planner include: a wedding checklist tool with a suggested time-frame on when each task should be completed; a calendar for all wedding-related events and commitments; access to the design studio, where you can collect wedding ideas, from themes, dresses, color palettes, and what have you; an event and guest management tool; a vendor tool that allows you to track contacts and invoices directly from the platform; and comprehensive budget tool. The amount of detail that went into the platform is truly extraordinary. For instance, not only does the checklist tool list every imaginable task you’ll need to do for such things as transportation or the rehearsal dinner, each task has a timeline for when it should be completed. Additionally, because of the collaborative nature of Aisle Planner, you can actually assign various tasks to people involved in helping you plan your wedding. Check out Aisle Planner‘s platform for yourself. Currently, you can try out their premium planning software for 30 days. Aisle Planner was previously featured at Tech Cocktail’s Los Angeles Mixer & Startup Showcase.
