In order to come up with the rankings, FlexJobs looked at and analyzed thousands of freelance job listings between August 1, 2015 and October 31, 2015. While a short-term look at data doesn’t necessarily prove that the companies are overall the best at hiring freelance talent (since hiring boosts can happen periodically throughout the year), the rankings are still helpful for freelancers out there who may have never considered going after larger companies for freelance work. The companies on the list range anywhere from education and healthcare to technology and marketing, with BCC Worldwide coming in at the top.
